Mental Health Awareness Week – Social Walk
Join the Manx Footpaths Conservation Group for a walk in the North of the Island
The Manx Footpaths Conservation Group is a friendly walking group who provide a comprehensive programme of walks throughout the year. There are lots of physical and mental benefits to social walking and exploring our beautiful Island, and it’s a great way to meet like minded people.
For Mental Health Awareness Week the MFCG are kindly inviting individuals to join their members on Sunday 15th May for a walk in the north of the Island.
The walk will start at 1.30pm from the car park at Maughold (map ref: SC489 918). If the car park is full please park in a safe place on the road. This is a moderate coastal walk of between 5-6 miles so walking boots or sturdy shoes are essential and walking poles if used. A drink is advised.
So we can let the Group know to expect you, if you would like to join the walk, please complete the short form below with your name and contact information.
For those not able to join the walk on the 15th, but who are still keen to start walking as part of a group, you are welcome to join the MFCG for a ‘taster’ walk on another date, from a range of venues better served by public transport, or with different terrain, before deciding if you wish to become a member. You can find all the MFGC’s walks on their website.
