Short Courses

for Mental Health Awareness Week

Lots of things can lead to feelings of anxiety, including relationships, starting a new job (or losing one) or other big life events. We can also get anxious when it comes to things to do with money and not being able to meet our basic needs, like heating our home or buying food.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, our range of face-to-face and virtual short courses are centred around anxiety, in all areas of life, to increase awareness and understanding of the issues, and provide practical ways to prevent it from becoming a problem.

We live in an increasingly digital world. Looking after our digital wellbeing isn’t as simple as putting our phones away – it’s important that we understand that technology can enrich our lives, but that we learn to use it in a way that is beneficial rather than harmful. This session looks at the impact of poor digital wellbeing on both our physical and mental health and what we can do to protect our digital wellbeing in the workplace, at home and when using social media,
