Get your kids involved this summer!

After what’s been an incredibly difficult year for many of us, with the help of Lloyds Bank, we have a range of summer activities perfect for keeping your kids active this summer that will have a great positive impact on their mental wellbeing.

Something for everyone

As we emerge from a period of great uncertainty where many of us, including children, have experienced a mental health problem or seen a loved one struggle, we wanted to put together a series of fun and exciting activities that will appeal to both children and parents alike helping to have a positive impact on mental wellbeing and create memories.

We’re offering 3 different types of session – Physical to help develop connectedness, Creative to engage your children’s senses and Social to help build self-awareness.

Go to the movies

We’ve arranged for a special showing at the Broadway Cinema (VillaGaiety)  in Douglas, of the 2015 animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Inside Out.

The film is set in the mind of a young girl named Riley, where five personified emotions — Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust — try to lead her through life as she and her parents adjust to their new surroundings after moving from Minnesota to San Francisco. Rated U, this film is a great way to help children to learn about emotions in a visual way and is very relatable to every day life.

Screening time – 10am (2 hour film), Saturday 21st August

Ticket Price – £5 per person (adult and child)
