What We Do
Supporting the Island’s Mental Health, starting in schools
Early support makes a lasting difference
By focusing on early intervention and prevention, our services help children and young people develop the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges and enjoy positive mental health for years to come. We do this through engaging classroom sessions and assemblies.
Through work commissioned by Manx Care, Wellbeing Practitioners and Therapists provide personalised 1-to-1 therapeutic support through the Talk service, making sure young people can access the right help at the right time.

Mental Health Education in Schools
At Isle Listen, we’re here to support young people with their mental health. Through our mental health education programme we help children and teenagers build confidence, tackle challenges and look after their mental health. We aim to give every young person the tools and support they need to thrive.

Talk Service: Mental Health Support for Under 18s
Talk is a service commissioned by Manx Care and provided by Isle Listen in partnership with CAMHS.
The service, which is led by qualified and accredited therapists, acts as a ‘single point of access’ for young people’s mental health up to the age of 18. Referrals to Talk are triaged by our clinical team, and where appropriate, assessed and treated by Isle Listen’s high and low intensity therapists. Where appropriate, referrals may be referred to a more suitable alternative service. Find out more by following the links below.
Supporting Parents, Carers & Teachers
Supporting children with their mental health can feel overwhelming at times, and we know the pressure often falls on parents, carers, and teachers.
Our drop in sessions and resources are designed to make that journey easier. They complement what children learn in our school sessions, offering practical tools, guidance, and reassurance to the adults around them. By building knowledge and confidence, we help parents, carers, and teachers feel supported too — so together we can create consistent, positive environments for young people to thrive.
Mental Health Training & Education
From curious five-year-olds in the classroom to leaders in the boardroom, our Education Team delivers mental health learning for every stage of life. In schools we focus on early understanding — helping young people to recognise feelings and build healthy coping tools. Beyond the classroom, we offer practical training that deepens knowledge, tackles stigma, and equips people to support wellbeing in their communities and workplaces.

We couldn’t do it without you
If you care about mental health and want to make a real difference, there are so many ways you can support our work. Every contribution, whether it’s volunteering your time, sharing your skills, or making a donation, helps us reach more people.
We simply couldn’t do it without the generosity and passion of people like you!
