New for 2026!
New to this year, it’s not just steps that count towards your leaderboard score! Participants can now include a range of activities like running, swimming and pilates! Log your activity each day for it to contribute.
To help get your activity up, and encourage positive action for your mental health – the Isle Listen team will be hosting some group lunchtime walks and runs in places like the business park, central Douglas, Castletown and Ramsey. You can find out more on times and locations through our calendar.
Alongside the Step Challenge, participants are encouraged to fundraise for Isle Listen to further support our work with our Island’s young people and equipping them with resilience and essential mental health skills.

Your support can make a real difference
Every £1 raised for Isle Listen during our two week ‘Take Action’ campaign is being very generously matched by the Z Zurich Foundation.
With match funding available up to £50,000, every donation made during the campaign will go twice as far, helping us continue to support the mental health of children and young people across the Isle of Man.
With your support there is the potential to raise an incredible £100,000 for Isle Listen.
Taking part with your family?
Take them on a ‘Rainbow Walk’! Our ‘Rainbow Walk’ is a simple mindfulness activity that encourages children and young people to go outside and look for objects in the environment that match the colours on their worksheet.
When we have a lot on our minds, taking a gentle walk and focusing on what we can see, hear, and notice around us can help us feel calmer and more relaxed. This activity helps shift attention away from worries and allows us to focus on the present moment using our senses. Young people are encouraged to draw or write down the multiple things they find for each colour on their sheet.
