By order of two Island charities…you are invited to the Banishment Banquet! Hosted in aid of Isle Listen and Junior Achievement Isle of Man, the Banishment Banquet will see a night of dinner and deception haunt the halls of King William’s College this November.
The event, kindly sponsored by Simcocks Advocates, takes place on Saturday 7th November in the striking oak-clad Barrovian Hall, and will feature a three-course evening meal, entertainment, plus interactive Traitors themed gameplay between the courses.
Themed on the hit TV series ‘The Traitors’, the Banishment Banquet is set to be an imaginative and fun twist on a traditional black-tie dinner. Competitively priced at £85 per ticket, or £1,000 per table of 12, the event is planned as a fundraiser for two Island charities with young people at the heart of their missions.
Both charities are focused on supporting young people through their school years and beyond, with Isle Listen providing free mental health education, and Junior Achievement providing free employment skills in schools. Having worked together on an event in 2025, the two charities continue to share a strong relationship and believe that working together is the solution to fundraising success in this tough economic climate.
Speaking of the event, Jess Knight, Events & Community Fundraising Manager at Isle Listen said “We’re really excited to be launching something a little different with the Banishment Banquet. We wanted to create an event that moves away from the traditional black tie ball, whilst still raising vital funds for two charities supporting young people across the Island.”
Jess continued, “We’re also incredibly grateful to Simcocks Advocates for coming on board as headline sponsor. Their support has helped us bring this idea to life, and it’s fantastic to be working alongside Junior Achievement Isle of Man again following the success of our previous collaboration.”
Sue Cook, Chief Executive at Junior Achievement Isle of Man added “The team at Junior Achievement are looking forward to this event and creating something special and entertaining for guests. It is wonderful to be working alongside Isle Listen, who share the same passion and dedication to supporting the wellbeing of young people on the Isle of Man”.
Phil Games, CEO of Simcocks added “We’re delighted to be sponsoring this exciting, innovative event, raising funds to provide much-needed support for our young people. The teams at Isle Listen and Junior Achievement are creating something really different, and I know it’s going to be a great success.”
