Summer Sessions
Engaging activities to enhance young people’s wellbeing throughout the summer
Isle Listen’s summer sessions have been running for the last 5 years and provide valuable opportunities for creative expression, exercise, friendship making, and above all, a focus on wellbeing. This is particularly important when schools are closed for the long summer holidays.
Each year we host Summer Sessions in varying topics, to ensure there is something for everyone. Most sessions are free to attend, but donations are always welcome.

Active Souls
We’ve partnered with Active Souls for every year of Summer Sessions. Mikey and the team believe that exercise can be driven by enjoyment and community, and that play can become the gateway to a more balanced and sustainable lifestyle. Their sessions revolve around classic playground games with one objective: FUN!
Play is crucial for children, as it supports their overall development. It aids in cognitive growth by enhancing problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Promotes social interaction, creativity, physical fitness, and emotional wellbeing, helping children develop essential life skills. This event is for 6-11 year olds.

New for 2026: Songwriting
We are delighted to offer this new Summer Session for 2026, partnering with music therapist Heather Daykin to deliver focused songwriting sessions. Songwriting can provide a safe, creative outlet to process complex emotions, reduce stress, and build self-esteem. It enhances emotional regulation, fosters self-awareness, and improves communication skills, allowing young people to articulate feelings that are otherwise hard to express.
