In Schools - IsleListen

We are open Monday to Friday between 9.00am – 5.00pm. Isle Listen is not a crisis service and only offers planned interventions. Should you or someone you know be in need of immediate support outside of our office hours you should contact Manx Care’s 24 hour Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team on 01624 642860 or the Emergency Services on 999.

Isle Listen in schools

In-school mental health support and educational programme to meet schools’ needs for children, teachers and parents.

We aim to equip the Island’s young people with the skills and resilience to navigate the mental health and emotional challenges of 21st century life

Isle Listen’s charitable work focuses on a preventative Mental Health Education Programme for young people on the Isle of Man. This programme reaches over 10,000 children and young people annually, engaging with all the Island’s schools & UCM. The aim of this preventative work is to reduce the number of young people requiring therapeutic support in future, by teaching coping skills and resilience. We are finding that young people currently accessing 1-1 support via the Talk service, run by Isle Listen and commissioned by Manx Care, are presenting with greater emotional literacy and knowledge of coping mechanisms, enabling a more productive and positive therapeutic experience.

With your help, we are equipping the next generation with resilience and essential mental health skills.

Our Wellbeing Facilitators work within primary and secondary schools, with all key stages, educating students about mental health through classroom-based sessions and assemblies.

Isle Listen is a charitable initiative that relies on the generous support and donations of the local community. Can you help us?
