June 13, 2025
Our Summer Sessions are back this July! Join us throughout the summer holidays for activities designed to support young people’s mental wellbeing.
Choose from a variety of Creative Workshops, Active Souls sessions or Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) sessions. These sessions are designed to boost mental wellbeing and provide an opportunity for young people to meet likeminded individuals whilst having fun over the summer holidays – at no cost to you!
Check out the full list of sessions below:

Creative Workshop: Make your own Sunshine
Thursday 24th July | Ages 6-11
Mill Court, Castletown
To kick off the summer holidays, join us for a fun and inspiring creative session. Using a wooden ring and colourful pegs, each child will create their own sunshine with each peg representing something they’d like to try, do, or achieve over the summer – from learning a new skill, reading a particular book, building that lego tower or creating a mini adventure! This cheerful craft not only sparks creativity but also builds confidence, and offers a practical tool for managing boredom and low mood during long breaks, encouraging children to dream big and plan a summer full of fun and discovery.

Creative Workshop: The Power of Words
Thursday 31st July | Ages 6-11
Mill Court, Castletown
In this creative and confidence-boosting session, children can design and make their own bracelet or keyring using colourful beads and letter charms to spell out an inspiring word or the first letters of a phrase that motivates or empowers them. This hands-on activity is more than just fun – it’s a chance for children to explore their values, express themselves, and carry a positive reminder with them wherever they go. Whether it’s a word like “brave,” “kind,” or the initials of a personal mantra, their creation becomes a small but powerful symbol of inner strength and self-belief.

Creative Workshop: My Wellbeing Bag
Thursday 14th August | Ages 6-11
Mill Court, Castletown
When we feel worried or sad there are lots of tools we can use to help us deal with those feelings. In this session, children will start by decorating their own fabric bag to match their personal style and interests. They will then fill it with cards on which they will write or draw pictures of their favourite healthy coping skills – from talking to someone, taking controlled breaths, watching a funny video and listening to music. Their finished bag will then become a go-to resource they can use during tricky moments.
All of our Creative Workshops are suitable for ages 6-11 and all materials will be provided – just bring your creativity!

Active Souls (Ages 6-11)
Tuesday 5th August, 10am to 11.30am at The Roundhouse
Tuesday 19th August, 10am to 11.30am at QEII High School
Tag, Duck Duck Goose, Dodgeball… you name it! Active Souls is all about having fun, whilst playing the classic playground ground games we know and love – as well as some brand new ones!
Play is crucial for children, as it supports their overall development. It aids in cognitive growth by enhancing problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Promotes social interaction, creativity, physical fitness, and emotional wellbeing, helping children develop essential life skills.

Dungeons & Dragons (Ages 11-18)
Led by our own self-professed D&D fanatic, David, over three sessions players will embark on epic adventures, creating unique characters and engaging in collaborative storytelling. It fosters creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and imagination, providing an endless amount of entertainment.
These D&D sessions take place on three consecutive Tuesdays, with both morning and afternoon slots. All three are designed to be attended to encourage storytelling. Secure your child’s space for all three with one ticket booking.
The morning D&D sessions are as follows:
Tuesday 22nd July, 10am to 12pm
