Slow down and get cosy in time for the Autumn Equinox
Join your Island’s mental health charity, Isle Listen, for a refreshing sea dip to raise your spirits along with much needed funds for our mental health education programme. The Autumn Equinox represents one of two days throughout the year when day and night are of equal length.
This time of year is all about connecting with nature, celebrating balance, clarity, and slowing down as we enter the new season with longer nights ahead. To practice this, there will be pre and post dip guided meditation, and each dipper will be gifted with a beautiful handmade Imvelo candle, to bring light, warmth and comfort for the longer, darker nights ahead.
What’s included
- • Guided meditation before and after the dip, lead by mindfulness teacher Mike Kewley
- • Supervised sea dip
- • Hot drink to warm up afterwards, from Cosy Noa (filter coffee and tea while stocks last)
- • Kishtey Çheh sauna access, on a first come first served basis
- • Goody bag with lovingly handmade soy wax candle from Imvelo
What: Guided meditation, sea dip, sauna access & hot drink. Our iconic goody bags will be back with brand new goodies inside! Food will be available to purchase from Cosy Noa.

But what’s a Solstice? There are two Solstices in the year, marking summer (& the longest day), and winter (& the shortest day). We thought Sea Dip for Solstice was more catchy than Sea Dip for Equinox!

What to bring
- • Some loose warm clothing to wear before and after your dip
- • A woolly hat to wear after, or you may even want to wear it during your dip – as we lose a lot of heat through our heads (we have some lovely ones for sale! 😉 )
- • Your swimsuit or maybe a wetsuit (the sea temperature is about 15°C, whilst this may sound and feel chilly, it is the warmest time of year to dip!)
- • Some people choose to wear neoprene socks and gloves to keep their extremities warmer
- • A pair of shoes or flip flops to wear on the beach or water sports shoes you can keep on during your dip
- • A towel or towel robe to get dried with & changed under
- • A plastic bag to put your wet stuff in
- • A warm drink in a flask or insulated cup and a sugary snack (we will have hot drinks available, included in your ticket price, while stocks last)
- • Some cash or a card to be able to buy raffle tickets, event merchandise, or breakfast from Cosy Noa.
