

Introducing Isle Listen and SportErin’s Three-Legged Race!
Together with SportErin (Southern Nomads) and the kind support of Tandem, Isle Listen is delighted to launch a family friendly Three-Legged Race!
What: Family fun! We are looking for as many teams as possible to take part in our Three-Legged Race. On-site catering will be available. Stay after the race to watch the rugby! Participants are encouraged to get creative with costumes, bring friends and family, and help raise vital funds.
When: 10am-12pm Sunday 7th September 2025
Where: Southern Nomads, Ballakilley Park, Port Erin
Who: Teams of two, children from the age of 5 upwards are welcome. 5, 6 and 7 year olds must be paired with an adult over the age of 18.

By paying an entry fee you help us to raise important funds for two local causes: Isle Listen’s mental health education programme and SportErin’s community sports development.
Supporting Isle Listen
Funds for our mental health education programme. We currently have a presence in 95% of our Island’s education settings. Through this programme we are preparing our island’s young people with the skills and resilience to navigate the mental and emotional challenges of 21st-century life.
Supporting SportErin
SportErin—an extension of Southern Nomads RUFC and a registered charity since 2007—is well known across the Isle of Man’s south for its commitment to providing accessible sporting opportunities, particularly for young people. Its Ballakilley Park facility supports over 180 young rugby players and hosts local running, walking, fitness, and cycling groups. The three-legged race sees the beginning of fundraising for a long-awaited clubhouse at Ballakilley Park, for which planning permission was submitted in April 2025.

Children over 11 and Adults: £10 each - Children 5-10: £5 each
Children aged 5-7 must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Isle Listen
Isle Listen is a trading name of MCH Psychological Services, an Isle of Man registered charity with over 40 years’ experience of providing emotional and psychological support.
Isle Listen’s charitable work focuses on a preventative mental health education programme for young people on the Isle of Man. This programme currently operates in 95% of the Island’s schools & UCM. Isle Listen is in the process of expanding into the community and onto an eLearning platform. Through work commissioned by Manx Care, Isle Listen also provides vital one-to-one therapeutic mental health support to young people up to 18 years of age. This service is led by qualified and accredited therapists.
